I have added the link about Scott's Saleen to the web site under Stang Gang News & Updates.
I know you all use the forum a lot - and that's a great way to communicate between members - but our PUBLIC face is the WEB site and our Facebook page! When people google the Stang Gang, the WEB site is the first thing to pop up! If there is something that you want the PUBLIC to find - like pictures or events or car shows - tell me!!!
I need everyone to remember to email me with any calendar events or pictures or whatever that you want added to the WEB site! The best thing for ME is for YOU to add photos to our Picasa Web Albums (or create new albums) through the Google side of things. I passed out a paper on how to log on to Google and Picasa to do that at one of our dinners. Email me if you want that instruction page again. That way, YOU can add pictures of whatever whenever and I can follow through and link them to our web site for the public to view. Remember, the PUBLIC will have access to everything that I post on our web site!
There are a LOT of things I still need for our WEB site!!! For instance, I still want to take pictures of all of our members with their cars for our members page on the web site. We can do this one of two ways - YOU can take a picture of you and your car and email me OR we can have a picture day where we cruise to some cool spot for pictures and I can take the pics.
I need to know ALL the car show dates so I can put them on the WEB site. I also will update the calendar on the WEB site when Jim has confirmed dates for our events, cruises, the car shows we are participating in as a club, or whatever.
I still need the bylaws that we adopted too to put on the web site. And, of course, the never-ending news, calendar updates, etc. I can't get it all done without your input!

Here's how important that the WEB SITE is in reaching people!!!
1. In 2011, since the web site went live in May, we had 3004 site views, an average of 14 visits per day.
2. So far in 2012, we have had 1161 site views and an average of 27 visits per day!!!
That's a total of 4165 visits to our WEB site since May 2011 to 1 pm today, Feb 13th!!!
There have been 18 site views so far today. Two of today's views came from links from other sites. ONE person accessed the forum from the web site today.
Our busiest day so far was August 5, 2011 when we had 90 site views!
So far this year, here are the weekly totals...
Jan 2 - 8 - 152 views
Jan 9 - 15 - 163 views
Jan 16 - 22 - 142 views
Jan 23 - Jan 29 - 313 views
Jan 30 - Feb 5 - 143 views
Feb 6 - 12 - 227 views - that was just LAST week!!!
From Feb 6 to today -
71 clicks on the Welcome page
30 clicks onto the Forum page (no results if they clicked on the link TO the forum)
26 clicks on the Rockin' the Route Car Show page
17 clicks on our News & Updates page
16 clicks on our Calendar page
15 clicks on our Meet the Gang page (which has NO pics or info!!!)
8 clicks on our Photo Gallery page
8 clicks on our Bylaws page (again - doesn't have the info!!!)
6 clicks on our Classifieds page
5 clicks on our Membership page
3 clicks on our Links page
1 click on our Contact page
We also had 18 clicks on our Car Show Flyer link and 6 clicks on our Car Show Registration link!
All that has happened since Feb 6!!!
That is WHY I need your most current information to post on the web site! People ARE looking at it - a lot!!!
